Tro Semerjian is an attorney in the litigation department at KJT Law Group, LLP, where he focuses his practice on landlord-tenant habitability litigation and personal injury matters. After advising them to allow additional time for discovery and subpoena work, Semerjian was able to significantly strengthen the case and secure an offer approximately six times greater than the original amount.
Before joining KJT Law Group, Semerjian worked at the Veterans Legal Clinic during law school, representing veterans and earning honors recognition for his work each semester. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University, Northridge and his Juris Doctor from Thomas Jefferson School of Law.
Semerjian chose this area of law because he believes every person deserves safe and habitable housing regardless of income, neighborhood or social status. In his view, a home should be a place of safety, stability and dignity for the people who live there.
